Kizor Family Cellars is a love letter to Syrah and Riesling. Since our inaugural vintage in 2021, we have produced old-vine Riesling from Cienega Valley. After an extensive search for the right vineyard, we found our Sonoma Mountain Syrah in 2023.

With dedication to old vines, cool-climate sites, and long élevage, Kizor Family Cellars aims to bring you delicious, refreshing wines through the lens of Riesling and Syrah.

Winemaker and founder Ted Kizor fell in love with Syrah early and caught the Riesling bug while working harvests at Clonakilla in Australia, of all places. Currently, Ted works as the winemaker for Dunn Vineyards and has previously worked at Ridge Vineyards, Clonakilla, Joseph Swan, Stephane Ogier, and Captain Vineyards—all benchmark Syrah producers.
