About Ted
Winemaker and founder Ted Kizor’s wine journey began early when he chose winemaking as an elective project while in highschool. Aspiring to become a winemaker led him to UC Davis and soon to Australia for harvest. Ted fell in love with Syrah early and caught the Riesling bug while working at Clonakilla. Currently, Ted works as the winemaker for Dunn Vineyards and has previously worked at Ridge Vineyards, Clonakilla, Joseph Swan, Stephane Ogier, and Captain Vineyards—all benchmark Syrah producers.
About Gabs
Gabriella, or Gabs to most, fell in love with wine while working in Amsterdam. Visiting a local wine shop steps from where she was living, she learned about the gravelly soils of Condrieu and the nuance that vineyards impart on wine. In her wine journey, she developed a palate for old white wines, specifically those of Italy and France, and has since sought out interesting gems in the vast world of wine. No stranger to a grocery store find or an unheard-of auction purchase, she identifies as an equal-opportunity wine drinker and believes all wines have a place on the table. After culinary stints in Toronto, British Columbia, and Napa, she transitioned to the hospitality side of the business and helped found Kizor Family Cellars.
